Fashionable Eye Wear For You

If you have been putting off the wearing of glasses because you feel you would look drab or glum in them, it is time to think again. No matter what glasses you need, whether for reading or far sighted problems, ignoring the problem for a long time and going without glasses can have a serious impact on your eyes. Therefore, if your eyes are in such a state, therefore the right thing to do is go for glasses immediately. And you DO NOT have to worry about being fashionable. One of the most fashionable of accessories is eye wear today. Even traditionally 'geeky' looking glasses have been turned into fashion statements, so you get the drift.
One of the major factors influencing what you wear, or if that is not the case with you, at least with the majority of people, is the bench mark set by celebrities. Popular culture has made a huge deal over what eye wear film stars and rock icons wear, and fashion standards are set. In fact, most celebrities take their eye wear very seriously. Whether it is the dark, mysterious sunglasses worn by all of the Hollywood jet set, to the downright cute and trendy specs that stars like Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and the likes of like to flaunt, eye wear is one of the most serious of fashion issues. If you are stuck for ideas on what you would like to wear, celebrity fashion would be a very good indicator of what would suit you.
o Lenses - Can be made from either fiber or glass. Take advice from your optician regarding what would suit your needs. As far as fashion, there are loads of options. Some of the most interesting options are photo chromatic lenses and colored lenses.

Colored lenses can rev up your entire look on a dull day, making you stand out from any crowd. It can be matched with the color of the dress you are wearing. Similarly, photo chromo lenses darken when you are outdoors, AND BECOME SUNGLASSES, KIND OF. Once you are back in, they return to their normal state.

o Frames - All the variety in the world you can imagine. There are round frames, and oval and square frames, moon shaped, half rimmed, bejeweled, big chunky frames, cute pencil frames- how many do you want?
Here, your choice again should depend on the shape of your face. You must already know that your frame should complement your face type, and hide features you do not want to flaunt. Most people opt for plastic and fiber frames, as hey are much lighter. The advantage of having lighter frames is that they are easier on the bridge of your nose and do not leave scar marks. Over, if you are opting for metal frames, do not feel discouraged, as metal frames, tend, to be far classier. If you comfortable with heavier frames, by all means go for them.
Finally, if you are willing to splurge yourself, there are custom made eye wear, only to suit your face type and fashion sense. Considering how important looks are, in today's world, you might just want to give it a try.
